Pamencap (Parents Association for the Mentally Handicapped Persons) established in 1986. Some of the parents came together and formed an association with the inspiration and guidance of National Institute of Mentally Handicapped, Secunderabed, Government of India. This is first of its kind in Andhra Pradesh and second in India. It is non governmental, non profit organisation registered under Public society Act 1960 with modern infrastructure and a team of highly skilled professionals with specific emphasis on education training and research in the field of M.R.
