Manochaitanya, the special school is our first creative venture considering the importance of parental involvement in every activity of the child and the emphasis made by the specialist for the involvements of parents in training programme, the necessity to have a special school of our own was very much felt. Manochaitanya became reality on 8th September 1986. In the first year we had 10 children, now we are having more than 60 children in Manochaitanya with a staff strength of 20 special educators and other staff members imparting specialised training to the students as indicated below.
